This dictionary does not have very basic words needed by second language speakers in class. This makes it unfriendly to use.

Maskew's products are great especially the exam notes. It covers everything for the exams.

Hierdie woordeboek het beslis die nie-Afrikaanse sprekende leerders gehelp om opnuut "'n nuwe bladsy om te slaan" t.o.v. Afrikaanse ervaring en Afrikaans as pret te ervaar. Die visuele hulpmiddels is effektief aangewend en maak dit as't ware makliker vir kinders om woorde te herken. Die bykomende inligting is ook handig en toepaslik vir enige Taalles. Baie leservriendelik! Wel gedaan!

This dictionary has loads more words compared to the Oxford School Dictionary. My students sometimes ask to use mine instead.

Ek onderrig Afrikaans EAT en die HAT Tweetalige woordeboeke werk wonders in my klas. In die middel van die boekie is daar belangrike woordeskat wat elke EAT-leerder benodig soos liggaamsdele en belangrike afkortings. Die sakwoordeboek is ook nie te swaar om rond te dra nie en dis maklik om te gebruik, met duidelike verduidelikings in beide Engels en Afrikaans. Dis ook nie buitensporig duur nie. Dankie, Longman HAT vir 'n uitstekende hulpmiddel met 'n goeie aanlyn-platform.

ITS A GREAT RESOURCE FOR SCHOOL KIDS.

The Platinum Atlas is a user-friendly atlas. It is very colourful and self-explanatory. A great addition to the classroom.

I used to use the older version of InstaMath so, when I saw the updated version, I was pleased. I like this resource as it is compact, it provides necessary support for learners who need extra practice and the answers are also provided. It's neatly laid-out and is Caps compliant. It's also a handy book for all learners to have for when they are finished with daily work. I do feel there could be sections with some more challenging questions but, other than that, it is an excellent resource. I use the Grade 4 and 5 InstaMath and love it.

Die Platinum-reeks is 'n oulike stel handboeke - behalwe vir die feit dat daar soms foute in die Onderwysers-gids insluip. Die leerders vind sommige van die hoofstukke interessant en leer ook meer as net Afrikaans. Sommige oefeninge is egter vaag gestel en soms onduidelik vir die leerders. Visueel voldoen die Platinum-reeks aan al die kreteria: die skrif is groot genoeg, die prente interessant en relevant tot die hoofstuk.

Learners find the information very interesting and understandable. It is easy to use and to differentiate between the different cognitive levels of the learners. The pictures normally interests them and they can't wait to learn about the diffent topics by looking at the pictures only. I will definitely recommend these textbooks to other schools as well.
