I am an ICT integrator at Herschel Girl’s Prep School and I have embarked on integrating more free tools in my teaching and the teaching of my colleagues by designing virtual escape rooms integrating various google platforms like Google Forms and Google Slides. These Virtual Escape Rooms allow inquiry-based learning as learners navigate different puzzles and clues based on a concept or topic in the curriculum. Integrating virtual escape rooms in your classroom fosters learner-centred teaching and can also be used as a formative or summative assessment opportunity.
